Pedaling for Parkinson’s™
at The Perfect Step

For more than a decade, Pedaling for Parkinson’s™ (PFP) has helped thousands of people living with Parkinson’s get moving, find community, and feel better. Backed by more than 17 years of groundbreaking research and now led by the Davis Phinney Foundation, this evidence-based cycling program uses the power of movement to improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life for those living with Parkinson’s disease.

Why Pedaling Works

Research shows that consistent, high-cadence cycling — even when it feels “uncomfortably fast” — can help reduce Parkinson’s symptoms and improve motor function. Participants who attend classes three times a week for at least eight weeks have seen symptom improvement by as much as 35%. Beyond the physical benefits, the group environment provides a supportive space to connect, grow, and thrive together.
